The Sad Tale
One of the things I miss most about America is the food. I feel bad being so blatantly American but somedays food just serves a quick nutrition so I can continue through the day. I miss ramen noodles and cheap macaroni and cheese, frozen waffles and donuts. Here meals are prepared at least a half an hour before with precise precision and it is considered an experience. Sometimes thats nice but what I really miss is a good ol' American donut for breakfast instead of an elaborate setting of vegetables and etc..
Donuts is what brings me to this post. I've been in search of a donut. There are very few Dunkin Donuts here and I don't think they even sell donuts! My quest for a donut led me to McDonalds. It came in its very own donut case and is now being saved in my purse for a special occasion. It is sad how excited I am over this. I can not wait for break fast.
Great report. I wonder if frozen doughnuts could be sent to you. Somehow, I think you have to forage.
