Sorry for the lack of posts. I've really slacked off. The issue is that there is nothing worth writing about! My mom got confirmation that she'll be working at my school (the high school/ lycee) and thats the biggest news in the past few days. I've been refining my Sims skills, I've proudly started the third generation of the families and had to mourn the death of one.
I haven't been able to practice flute since it is an apartment in a very crowded residential area and I've been yelled at in the past. BUT (shift happens!) it ends today! (or tomorrow whenever I can get to it) The bathrooms here are tiled on the floors and walls, which is great to hold in sound! So... my idea is to use the very very small half bathroom in the master bedroom that is now used as storage because the toilet overflows or something (why they just don't fix it, I don't know) as a little music room. There might be additional sound proofing necessary but I have a good feeling about it. As further confirmation I was thinking about it all night and in the morning when I actually went to look in the room, somebody had put my guitar in there! If thats not a sign I don't know what is! So depending on my schedule today I shall attempt that as well as hitting the web for soundproofing ideas!
